Our app fetches landscape and scenery photographs from Unsplash, a photo service provided by Unsplash Inc. When photos are loaded, your device makes a direct network request to Unsplash's servers. No personal account data or user content is sent to Unsplash; however, as with any network request, Unsplash's servers may receive your device's IP address as part of standard internet communication. We do not share any personal information with Unsplash. Unsplash's use of data is governed by the Unsplash Privacy Policy.

6. How Do We Handle Account Registration?

We use email and password registration only.

Our Services require you to register with an email address and password. We do not currently offer social media login (such as Google or Facebook sign-in). The information you provide during registration is used only to identify your account and provide the Services described in this Privacy Notice.

7. Is Your Information Transferred Internationally?

We may transfer, store, and process your information in countries other than your own.

Our servers are located in the United States and Singapore. If you are accessing our Services from outside these countries, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored by, and processed by us in our facilities and in the facilities of the third parties with whom we may share your personal information.

If you are a resident in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we take all necessary measures to protect your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Notice and applicable law, including the use of European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses for international transfers.

8. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?

We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Privacy Notice unless otherwise required by law.

9. How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?

We aim to protect your personal information through a system of organisational and technical security measures.

We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organisational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk. You should only access the Services within a secure environment.

10. Do We Collect Information From Minors?

We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age.

We do not knowingly collect, solicit data from, or market to children under 18 years of age. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent's use of the Services.

If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data. If you become aware of any data we may have collected from children under age 18, please contact us at hello@feelinglousy.app.

11. What Are Your Privacy Rights?

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information.

In some regions (like the EEA, UK, Switzerland, and Canada), you have certain rights under applicable data protection laws. These may include the right to:

Account Information

If you would at any time like to review or change the information in your account or terminate your account, you can:

Upon your request to terminate your account, we will deactivate or delete your account and information from our active databases. However, we may retain some information in our files to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, or comply with applicable legal requirements.

Opting Out of Marketing

You can unsubscribe from our marketing and promotional communications at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the emails that we send, or by contacting us. However, we may still send you service-related messages necessary for the administration and use of your account.

If you have questions or comments about your privacy rights, you may email us at hello@feelinglousy.app.

12. Controls for Do-Not-Track Features

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected.

At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognising and implementing DNT signals has been finalised. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Notice.

California law requires us to let you know how we respond to web browser DNT signals. Because there currently is not an industry or legal standard for recognising or honouring DNT signals, we do not respond to them at this time.

13. Do United States Residents Have Specific Privacy Rights?

If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, or Virginia, you may have specific privacy rights.

These rights may include the right to request access to and receive details about the personal information we maintain about you, correct inaccuracies, get a copy of, or delete your personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw your consent to our processing of your personal information.
